Load generator - Complex Event Processing

Hello,
My input file :
S0,"SELECT SUM(s.quantity_sold), AS quantity_sum, TO_CHAR(SUM(prod_list_price * s.quantity_sold),'$999,999,999.00') AS "
S1,"SELECT TO_C""foo""HAR(SUM(prod ,s,s,s,s,s,s "
Output :
<2009-09-15 20:30:54 CEST> <Error> <Adapter> <BEA-2041011> <Bad input data, expected 2 fields, found 8, data = S1,"SELECT TO_C""foo""HAR(SUM(prod ,s,s,s,s,s,s ">

It seems like load-generator desn't support full CSV spec?
http://www.creativyst.com/Doc/Articles/CSV/CSV01.htm
Thanks R.

Found one more bug:
I decide to replace comma with html/xml encoded character string , . It seems like parser ends read on ";" , someone was really lazy ;)
I'm forced tu use my solution ::comma:: :/
Thanks.
R.

Hi,
You've encountered a limitation of the load generator---it doesn't support "," within a String value. Glad that you found a workaround and sorry for the inconvenience!

Seth

WLPI w/ AI plug-in - insert action called from a task, but causes a DB error

I am attempting to call an action developed in AI from a PI task. Basically, I
am sending an xml message to the PI worklist client asking the user to enter a
first and last name. When they do so, I extract the user's response using the
XPath and appropriate xml response dtd. At that point (as a test), I send a
message box back to the worklist client that simply displays the values that
the user entered. This part I have working, and the values are being extracted
correctly.
I have also created a simple insert action through AI. It takes in a first and
last name fields. I have deployed this correctly (to my knowledge), and have
run the test through the AI interface. The insert statement works fine through
AI, and the resulting xml documents are what I expect.
However, when I attempt to assign the values (in variables) from the worklist
client to the xml document that is used by the insert action, I get an oracle
error saying that it cannot insert null into the field (obviously, a not null
field).
I am not exactly sure what the error is, but when I call the action, the variable
values are not being set correctly in the input xml document for the action, or
there is some connectivity issue. The entire error is below. If anyone could
be of further assistance, your help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

If you download the worklist.jsp from the newsgroup you can unzip the
war file and look at responseParser.java to see how this is done. I think
this is what you are asking.

Dan,
Be sure to look at the schema for the AI service you are calling(i.e. view the schema of the AI service through
the browser pages). You will want to populate an xml variable to be used as the request document for the service
you are calling. So, within the Task, you should have a at least two actions.
First, you will want to Add->Workflow Action->Set Workflow Variable. Select your XML variable you wish to use as
your Request Document Variable for your AI service action. Populate this variable with the necessary XML
elements. For Example:
Input
|_FIRSTNAME "John" (this is the value of the element)
|_LASTNAME "Doe"
Second, you will want to Add->AI Action->Call Application View Service. Select the appropriate app view and
service in the tree. Select your XML variable as the Request Document Variable. Note that you can also view the
service schema here also.

Thanks.

jim, as far as i know, i have done all of this properly. i correctly pull back
the user's entry for first and last name, and populate variables with these values
(i even send back a message back to the worklist client that display these values,
so i know the variables are populated correctly.)
when i call the action, i do use the correct request xml schema, and populate
the elements (firstname, lastname) with the variables that i had set previously.
this seems like it should work, but obviously, that's why i'm stuck.
i've attached a testcase xml document that i believe shows what i've done so far
(some of the steps are repetetive or unecessary, but i put in there for debugging/testing).
i've also sent this to support, but no solutions so far.

Hi-
Running WLS6.1 SP3.
at times, i get the following kind of error in the server console; though it is

Edit of Foreign JMS module in admin console causes redeployment error

A JMS module (-jms.xml) for a foreign JMSServer specifies the url of the real JMS server. I am trying to use a deployment plan to make this url a deployment property.
Following the instructions in "Configuring and Managing Weblogic JMS" and "Deploying Applications to Weblogic Server", I have deployed the module with a fixed URL, and then attempt to edit the url in the admin console. The admin console correctly creates a deployment plan to hold modified value, but then can't redeploy the module due to errors during deployment.
I experience these errors with the module deployed stand-alone, or when bundled with my enterprise application. I also get the same error if I produce the deployment plan using the PlanGenerator.
The error seems to be a bug in the deployment plan machinery, since the xpath it produces for the variable-application does not match the xml schema for <weblogic-jms>. The plan.xml refers to "/weblogic-jms/foreign-server[name="IQN_OLTP_FOREIGN_JMS_Server"]/connectionurl" while the schema defines "/weblogic-jms/foreign-server/connection-url".
Any advice would be welcome.
We are running 9.2 SP3.
The messages in the admin console logs are:

Are you able to deploy after tweaking the plan.xml file manually ("connection-url")?
I also tried this, without success. Changing the deployment plan to use the element name "connection-url" leads to a different error during deployment:
<Info> <J2EE Deployment SPI> <BEA-260121> <Initiating deploy operation for application, IQN_JMS_OLTP_FOREIGN [archive: ../../package/jms/IQN_JMS_OLTP_FOREIGN-jms.xml], to IQN_BATCH IQN_OLTP1 .>
plan xpath defines an element [connection-url] that is not valid!(There is also a subtle variation in the xpath used in the deployment plan: It isn't clear whether the deployer expects /weblogic-jms/foreign-server/[name="IQN_OLTP_FOREIGN_JMS_Server"]/connection-url or /weblogic-jms/foreign-server[name="IQN_OLTP_FOREIGN_JMS_Server"]/connectionurl. The former, although not really correct XPath syntax, seems to be required for other elements, but in this case, the PlanGenerator emits latter, which is correct XPath, but has the wrong element name.)
