HandlerChain in Weblogic 10.3, ClassNotFoundEx - weblogic.developer.interest.webservices.general(Archived)

Hi,
I am trying to deploy in Weblogic 10.3 a web service (JAXWS) that contains a #HandlerChain but the deployment fails with an exception stating that the handler class that I specify in the XML file is not found (ClassNotFoundEx). I tried various solutions: packaging jars in my warfile (my guideline was http://dev2dev.bea.com/lpt/a/596, I used all jars in jaxws.classpath); i I tried also to add all these jars in the WLS classpath but I got other weird results.
A second question is how to use the modules located in the modules/ folder. There are various versions of glassfish for instance and I don't know which version is used by the runtime. Is there any way to install/uninstall them?
Any idea is appreciated. Thanks.

Axis1.4 in Human Task over Soasuite to Weblogic 9.2

Hello,
I am having a small issue with Axis.jar file, i have developed 3 webservices using workshop , this was made using Axis.jar version 1.4, after that i generate a Jar file and add it to my WEB-INF\Lib directory.
Until here, no problem was found, but after deploying this to the weblogic 9.2 of my soaDomain server , i have an conflit with Axis.jar in my soasuite/owsm/lib/extlib.
I dont understand wy my Human task APP is using that axis.jar istead of the one i add to my WEB-INF\lib app... the axis.jar in soasuite is 1.1 and my is using 1.4 version ...
How can i specific say in my Human task to use the one inside my APP instead of getting the one in thes server ??
any help would be really apreciated..
Many thanks,
Vitor
Problem resolve, we need create a weblogic.xml file defining the libraries in App to be load as preferenced.

BaseWLSSLAdapter: Indirectly referenced from required .class files

Hi all,
I have an application (Java 1.5) which was deployed on Weblogic 9.2. I was asked to upgrade the application (Java 1.6) to make it deploy-able on Weblogic 10.3. I have converted the whole application by changing the project facets and such. Everything was good except one small error which I was unable to resolve.
The error is in the session bean where I was invoking a webservice (using RPC).
The type weblogic.webservice.client.BaseWLSSLAdapter cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files
is the error.
I looked up BaseWLSSLAdapter in 10.3 documentation and it says its deprecated. From what I understand, there is no reference to weblogic system libraries in the build path. I have them included and the target server is set as 10.3. But I couldn't get rid of the error. I would appreciate if any one can shed some light/direction...
Thanks.
I reposted this in the general forum. I wish I can delete this post, but couldn't find any way to do that.

Deployment on Standalone weblogic not loading accompanied jars

In my adf based web application, there are third party libraries from apache for manipulation of pdf documents. When i run it locally in integrated weblogic server with JDeveloper 11g, it runs perfectly but when i deploy it to standalone weblogic server 10.3.3.x through JDeveloper 11g, it is not loading those libraries as application is giving me error about class not found exception. I have looked into ear which JDeveloper created and it contains all libraries in WEB-INF/lib folder. What i am missing? Any help??
I am using JDeveloper 11g with latest patchset of adf i.e. 11.1.3.x and weblogic server is 10.3.3
do you get a ClassNotFoundException or a NoClassDefFoundError?
Can you give more details on the specific message?
Anyway the recipe normally is:
- note down the name of the missing class
- use http://www.inetfeedback.com/jarscan/ to identify the jar containing the class
- make sure the jar is either in the system classpath or in the APP-INF/lib or the EAR or the WEB-INF/lib of the WAR

OEPE generates deployable differently for remote or local server

Trying to encapsule my development environment with docker (one image for wls an other for apache httpd) I discovered (after a lot of effort) that OEPE (v 12.2.1.6) handles deployment differently when the WLS server is remote. When the server is local then OEPE generates the following directory:{workspace}/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects/{project name}/beadep/{local domain name}/{project name}/split_src/.beabuild.txt{workspace}/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects/{project name}/beadep/{local domain name}/{project name}/split_src/META-INF/... The .beabuild.txt contains the instructions to tell WLS how to deploy all the dependent modules and libraries correctly. OBS: this .beabuild.txt is part of the "Split Development Directory" feature. But when I use a remote server OEPE generates the following structure:{workspace}/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects\{project name}/beadep/remote_weblogic/{project name}.ear The big problem here is that the generated EAR is missing the library projects on the APP-INF/lib directory, what causes ClassNotFoundException when deploying it. Have anyone suffered with this already? Any ideas or thoughts on how to generate the EAR correctly to deploy remotely? Thanks in advance,Felipe Saab
APP-INF is specific for WebLogic. Does the [EAR]/META-INF/application.xml include the following?  <application>   <library-directory>APP-INF/lib</library-directory></application>  If not, please add.
