using Weblogic logging service from managed server

When I use logging service (NonCatalogLogger) on managed server, it seems not print
to stdout to the console window (not Admin console browser). But it works when
I use admin server. What is the issue?
Thanks,

How to stop admin console?

We are using WLS7.0 to publish our web pages. Is it possible to stop admin console
in case of not accessing to console from Internet? Now the admin console and web
application are on the same port.
Hi
i think is not able since you have the two things running on the same port and
so server ...
if you want to do so, you need to separate admin from managed server ... and use
nodemanager to communicate them
you may need to re install bea, using admin server + managed server install profile
Best regards

Failes to start Managed server using Nodemanager from admin console

Hi
I have created the cluster using Weblogic version 9.2 MP3 with
Machine 1 --> Admin (AS) + Managed server (MS1)
Machine 2 --> Managed server(MS2)
All the servers(AS,MS1,MS2) are SSL configured to run in production mode.
Machine is associated with each managed server and node manager is up and running.
I have made Host name verification as "None"
When i start the MS 1 from admin console it comes up in running.However MS2 is not coming in running mode.
The server logs states that "Could not connect to admin server"
Cannot decrypt the password ,username and TrustKeyStorePrivatepassphrase.
Even when i write the clear text password and username in Server_Name/data/nodemanager/boot.properties,then also it throws the same error.
Node manager is not configured to SSL.
Any Clue what i am missing????
Is your Machine #2 shown as "Reachable" in the admin console ( Machines -> Machine2 -> Monitoring )?
Does your managed server #2 have the same userid and password on its Server -> Configuration -> Server Start page ( UserName & Password fields ) as managed server #1?
Your boot.properties only needs 2 lines, like:
password=your plain text password
username=your plain text username

SSL on managed servers

i installed the weblogic 10.3.3 on a system and configured an admin server (7001 and ssl-7002) and one managed server (7003 and ssl-7004)on it.created a machine and added both the admin and managed server to this machine.i deployed my webapplication on managed server.i am using node manager to start the servers. i uncheck Listen Port Enabled on my managed server so that my webapllication should only work on https.my node manager is running.
in admin console,
1)i still can see the Listen port as 7003 for managed server on admin console--> Environment --> servers --> configuration tab.(i disabled Listen Port Enabled)
2)i am able to access my web aplication running on managed server(through https) but the state of managed server is shown as UNKNOWN on admin console
when i try to start the managed server from nodemanager using nmStart('managedServer1') i am getting the error managedServer1 already been started
3)i am not able to monitor my managedserver from admin console its saying 'Server is not currently reachable. No additional health information available'.
i am not able to shutdown the managed server from admin console or using nodemanager
please help me in fixing this issues
Another doubt is whether is it possible to deploy a http webapplication and an https webapplication to managed servers on same machine
Thanks and Regards,
You should be able to see the status of your node manager regardless of whether you have any managed server at all or any applications or whether you use SSL or not.
So what do you see when you click Machines -> "your machine" -> Monitoring? Does it show "Reachable"? This confirms that your NM and Admin server are connected.
Thanks for your reply. I chaged Keystores:as Custom Identity and Java Standard Trust and now my all servers are runing and i can see the stauts of node manager as Reachable
