PURPOSE

Patch 3240000 적용시 Adjava eror fix
Problem Description
-------------------
u3240000.drv 적용시 아래 Error발생.
1.Updating the master archive with command:
adjava -mx512m -nojit oracle.apps.ad.jri.adjcopy
#/pchplng101/app/appltop/admin/PCHPLNG1/out/apps.cmd
AutoPatch error:
ERROR [code=1] Updating the master archive.
AutoPatch error:
Error updating master archive
An error occurred while Updating Oracle Applications Java files.
2. When executing the following from the command line,:
adjava -mx512m -nojit oracle.apps.ad.jri.adjcopy
#/pchplng101/app/appltop/admin/PCHPLNG1/out/apps.cmd
received the following error:
Writing Undo archive
/ora_appdba/patches/oracle/HP-UX/3240000/backup/PCHPLNG1/dcshp2/java
ERROR: I/O or zip error while attempting to read entry
oracle/apps/csr/scheduler/core/server/Appointment.class in zip file
/pchplng101/app/common/java
Error(s) have occurred; exiting with status 1

Solution Description
--------------------
1. $COMMON_TOP/java/oracle/apps/csr/scheduler 아래 "core/server" 디렉토
리를 생성한다
$COMMON_TOP/java/oracle/apps/csr/scheduler/core/server.
2.$CSR_TOP/java/jar 으로 가서 csrclient.jar 를 temp location 에 풀고, 아래 Class들을 $COMMON_TOP/java/oracle/apps/csr/scheduler/core/server 로 copy하면 됩니다.

Explanation
-----------
패치 1899381를 적용하십시오.
11.5.7 버전부터 기본으로 반영되는 패치입니다.
원인에 대해서는 WIP_COST_TXN_INTERFACE 에
부하가 한순간 2000건 이상 집중될때
acct_period_id 와 and wip_entity_id가 다른 코스트 워커에
들어가서(그 자체가 큰 문제는 아님) 데드락이 일어난다고 합니다.
결론적으로 부하문제이고 심각한 메세지는 아닙니다.
속도가 늦으니 그 자체로 문제이긴 하지요.

PURPOSE

Notification Mailer를 background에서 running 시키고,unix account의 logging out 후에도 지속적으로 running 시킬뿐 아니라 standard output 및 error message를 각각 저장할 수 있게 workflow unix user로 workflow mailer를 start 할 수 있다.
Explanation
-----------
nohup $ORACLE_HOME/bin/wfmail.snd -f <config_file>
1>mailer.log 2>mailer_err.log &
where <config_file> is $ORACLE_HOME/wf/res/wfmail.cfg
Alternatively, you can do the following to start the Notification Mailer without specifying the CONNECT parameter & value in the above step: Create Mailer Configuration file as the password parameter in the $ORACLE_HOME/wf/res/wfmail.cfg file is in clear text and poses a security problem.
nohup $ORACLE_HOME/bin/wfmail.snd -f $ORACLE_HOME/wf/res/wfmail.cfg owf_mgr/password#connect_string 1>mailer.log 2>mailer_err.log &
(Please note that even this method of running the Oracle Workflow Notification Mailer is not entirely secure in the sense that if anybody who has access to the middle-tier can always do a “/usr/ucb/ps -auxwww | grep wfmail.snd” and get the CONNECT information).

KIMYONG : patch 적용후 FND_CP_GSM_OPP_AQ  가 invalid 될경우

Symptoms
==========
patch적용후 FND_CP_GSM_OPP_AQ queue 가 invalid 되고 XML publisher가 정상작동 안하는 경우가 있습니다.
patche 는 Technology patches like (FND,OWF, OAF) or functional patches like (AP, AR,OM etc). 을 포함하는 경우만 모두 포함됩니다.
Changes
===========
Patch application (or) Validating and Compiling the Apps schema while Output Post processor (OPP) is up and running.
Cause
======
OPP service 가 running중이고 FND_CP_GSM_OPP_AQ 에 어떤 message가 있따면 patch로 인해 queue가 invalid됩니다.patch는 내부적으로 schema를 validate / compile하기 때문에 queue안의 data가 inconsistent 됩니다.
If OPP service is not running then all requests that use XML Publisher transformation will fail and if FND_CP_GSM_OPP_AQ queue is not up and running, the OPP service fails to start.
Solution
========
1. Recreate the queue using $FND_TOP/patch/115/sql/afopp002.sql file as 'APPLSYS' user.
2. Republish those requests to get the real output generated by applying the template

Purpose
------------
11i 초기버전은 Custom Application Register를 위해 각 CUSTOM PRODUCT_TOP Directory를 manual 하게 만들어주고
advars.env , topfile.txt 에 이를 등록해 주는 작업을 수동으로 해 주었습니다. 11i , R12에서 OAM , Autoconfig 를 사용하여
Directory Creation , Env file update등을 하는 방법을 가이드 하고자 합니다.
Explanation
-----------------
1.) 등록하고자 하는 Product TOp Naming을 정한후 아래와 같이 작업해 줍니다.
1-1.System Administration 권한 ->
Navigate to: Site Map-->Autoconfig-->Manage Custom Parameters
1-2. Press [Add]
1-3. Enter the following example values:
x Applications Tier
OA_VAR: c_xxjetop
Default Value: /<APPL_TOP>/xxje/12.0
Title: xxje_top
Description: my description
OA_TYPE: PROD_TOP
1-4. Press: [Next]-->[Next]
Next screen shows "Add a new custom parameter:Summary" screen.
1-5. Press [Finish]
Next screen shows "Customized Parameters" table which here is always EMPTY. Pressing [Refresh] or running Autoconfig does not help.
2.) 아래 Script를 실행
$INST_TOP/admin/install/adgentopfile.sh
3.) Execute Autoconfig using the Standard Procedure
--> Open a new shell and source the APPS Environment
--> Stop the Middle-Tier Services
--> Execute Autoconfig
--> Open a new shell and source the new APPS Environment
--> Verify, that the <CUSTOM>_TOP exists now in your Environment
--> Startup the Middle-Tier Services
